Ser Jacopo: De Divina Proportione Smooth Rhodesian with Silver (L1)
Product Number: 002-171-2027
Given the late Giancarlo Guidi's love for art, it should be little surprise that he was familiar with Pacioli's De Divina Proportione, and as fate would have it, this special Ser Jacopo series, inspired by the idea of applying the Golden Ratio to pipe design, would be one of the Pesaro school founder's last great projects.
We've previously seen the bent Billiard, straight Billiard, straight Apple, and straight Rhodesian designed for this series, and now here we find another take on the latter shape — this time in the bent variety. True to the nature of its inspiration, this shape shows a fine balance in its proportions, producing a design that is firm and robust, yet elegant in its lines, form, taper and stance.
