Ser Jacopo: Historica Captain Warren Sandblasted Bent Egg Calabash (35) (S2)

Product Number: 002-171-2701

This Historica series briar is quite a neat find, really — the Captain Warren design being one of the lesser-seen, and charmingly whimsical of the workshop's many Pesaro shapes. Not to mention the history of the design itself. Also known as the Lyons, the Dawes, or the General pipe, the Captain Warren appears in pipe catalogs dating as far back as 1910 — and even back then featured a high-set transition, a generous condensation chamber, and a removable chamber cap. This example takes on the form of a shapely bent Egg, strong in its Pesaro flair with quite a comfortable feel in hand.
