Ser Jacopo: Calumet Smooth Bent Dublin with Silver (L1) (D) (1)

Product Number: 002-171-2866

An interesting design, this Calumet bent Dublin by Ser Jacopo is broadly based on pipes used by Native Americans for their personal use or trade. Yes, Calumet is quite the vague term, given the size of the Americas and hundreds of different cultures within; it was coined by French fur traders. Anyway, this piece is pretty whimsical, with the tall, cylindrical bowl bearing a forward sense of dynamism, while the upwardly bent shank and stem evoke a swan-neck profile. Dressed in a warm, mahogany stain and laden with silver along the shank and stem, this is a handsome pipe.
