Ser Jacopo: Smooth Chubby Bent Dublin (L2)

Product Number: 002-171-2955

While the Italian school of pipe making is known for its reinterpretation of classic, English and French shapes, often exaggerating proportions and adding other stylish flourishes, the Pesaro tradition, pioneering by Giancarlo Guidi of Ser Jacopo takes the exaggeration a step further, offering some truly striking, avant-garde forms. This chubby bent Dublin, while still catering to the traditional pipe chart standard, does well to embody the playfulness of the Pesaro style. The bowl's flare is as expected, but the plumpness of the transition, shank, and stem base add soft, comforting aspect to the profile, making this a hearty companion while still maintaining a compact length overall.
