Ser Jacopo: Sandblasted Chubby Bent Dublin (S2)
Product Number: 002-171-3036
The reinterpretation of classic shapes is part of the Italian tradition of pipe making, and that style was especially influenced by the late Giancarlo Guidi of Ser Jacopo, often exploring larger and stockier renditions, as seen in this impressive Dublin. Its bowl is over two inches high, while its length remains under five inches for a truly robust form. That muscularity is contributed to by the shank, which is beefy and cylindrical as it angles up to the saddle mouthpiece. The rim is softly inflated, smooth, and offered in a light, golden stain that contrasts especially well with the bowl's dark, sandblasted surface. It's a pipe you won't forget is in your hand.- Chuck Stanion
