Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's 1888, post-impressionist sketch The Zouave Seated, this Apple from Ser Jacopo offers a smooth, rounded bowl with voluptuous curvature. A smooth shank extension provides substantial length, and the expanded base of the stem invokes a separate attitude highlighting the smoothness and color of the stummel. It certainly has the character to think it's from history rather than a modern rendition, yet it's engineered with all of the sophistication of current pipe engineering.
