Ser Jacopo: Picta Miro Rusticated Billiard with Silver (R1) (C) (03)
Product Number: 002-171-3059
Based on what appears to be a long, slender clay pipe pictured amongst the colorful clutter of Joan Miro's 1920 "Horse, Pipe, and Red Flower," this Billiard by Ser Jacopo echoes that trim style and well-defined bowl, all while adding considerable Pesaro character. Whimsically, a single beadline encircles the bowl just beneath the rim for creative flourish in this Sitter, achieved by resting back on the mouthpiece. Dressed in a warm, earthy rustication with a dash of flash rendered in the form of a trim silver accent ring at the stem base, it's a pretty simple shaping formula, but a charming one as well.
