Ser Jacopo: Smooth Bent Dublin with Silver (L2) (A)
Product Number: 002-171-3113
Ser Jacopo is known for fashioning large, bold pipes in Pesaro style with their Maxima designated pieces among the largest on the market. While this bent Dublin is a hearty rendition, it's more modestly sized than many of its peers. The tall, full-bodied bowl offers a pronounced, dramatic flare toward the rim from a pinched waistline that brings to mind the Cauldron shape. A rounded, plump heel then sweeps toward a curling, muscular shank, with an abbreviated saddle stem turning downward a bit for hands-free clenching. Dressed in a handsome honey-blonde stain that emphasizes some lovely licks of flame, this deep-chambered piece is further accentuated by a trim, bright silver accent band that's contrasted by the jet-black mouthpiece.-Angela Robertson
