Bearing a single "Maxima" stamp, this robust interpretation of the Oom Paul shape from Ser Jacopo displays a Stack-like height and chamber depth. Like many Oom Pauls, this one has a flat, extended heel that allows it to sit sturdily upright, extending to the fore of the bowl at an angle, while the shank and elongated stem rise nearly vertically behind. Dressed in a low-profile, earthy rustication, with the rim, base and nomenclature panel left smooth and lightly stained for contrast, this pipe is pleasantly balanced and should hang from the jaw with ease.
