Ser Jacopo: Rusticated Paneled Pot (R1) (A)

Product Number: 002-171-3346

Displaying the bold, bowl-centric proportions often found in the Italian neoclassical tradition, this Ser Jacopo Pot features eight crisp facets that encompass the bowl, with a far more slender rectangular shank extending out of the low-slung transition, anchoring most of the visual weight up front. The sturdy, broad proportions often associated with the Pot shape are present in the bowl, with the paneled aesthetic lending it even more robust muscularity, especially in hand. This piece wears a crisp, rusticated finish with the rim and trim accent at the shank end left smooth for contrast. The saddle stem of jet-black acrylic tops things off out back, adding a dark note to the pipe's profile that offsets some of the warm tones of the stummel. This piece boasts a flattened heel, enabling it to sit quite sturdily, making it an ideal desk pipe.
