Ser Jacopo: Sandblasted Acorn Churchwarden (S1) (A)

Product Number: 002-171-3369

While Churchwardens aren't necessarily uncommon in Ser Jacopo's portfolio, they're certainly not a style of pipe which they produce often, especially if, like this pipe, they're possessed of a shapely Acorn bowl. This is something we have never seen from the workshop before and, I have to say, it's quite a handsome profile. With a long, willowy stem erupting from a trim length of shank, this piece features a distinct undercurve from the button to the heel spur, gliding up as the bowl curves to the rim. The chamber held by this bowl is also quite capacious, something not too often seen in Churchwarden pipes, and it comes to us dressed in a dark, shallow sandblast that reveals some handsome blasted cross grain on both flanks.
