Marked by one of Ser Jacopo's most innovating and bold finishes, this Billiard is dressed in the modern Maior finish, the stummel bringing to mind cooling lava. The smooth, ruby-tinged rim and trim band at the shank end complement the color of the "fissures" set against the dark sandblast of the stummel. Shape-wise, the stout bowl is flattened enough at the base to allow this unique pipe to sit sturdily upright. Out back, the shank and stem taper toward the bit, a design cue commonly seen in Italian pipes. This decorative piece is sure to be a conversation starter and is deeply chambered to accommodate favorite blends.
