Ser Jacopo: Rusticated Paneled Billiard (R1) Tobacco Pipe

Coming to us from Ser Jacopo , this paneled Billiard showcases a more sleek build about its aft side than we're used to seeing from the Pesaro workshop. It still retains some of the more playful shaping that they're know for however, with the trim shank and lengthy stem comprising a consistent taper from the transition to the button, reinforcing the presence of the bowl. Said bowl is here surrounded by an octet of panels and ridgelines, and its upright build is set upon a flattened heel that allows for stable sitting, the firm lines lending it a structural presence that's contrasted by a slightly rounded and inflated rim that's been polished smooth. Additionally, a trim ring of briar at the shank end has been left smooth, the pair contrasting handsomely against the res of the stummel's textural, auburn hued rustication.
