Ser Jacopo: Rusticated Apple with Silver (R1) (A) Tobacco Pipe

I'm quite impressed with the proportions of this straight Apple, in fact, it's the first thing that struck me about it, giving me the impression of a compact, almost Nosewarmer-length briar. In fact, this pipe measures closer to five and a half inches long, and presents with a bowl that is appreciably hearty, rising to more than two inches tall and filling out the contours of the fingers with charming plumpness. This bowl sits atop a rounded heel and takes on a slight taper to its beadline-marked rim, its bulky frame married to a thick, tapering shank via a wide transition that gives plenty of room for the thumb to drape. The stem here is a sleek black saddle of acrylic which meets the junction at a band of silver which adds some elegant flair to the composition, contrasting the craggy auburn rustication of the stummel quite well, as well as the smooth rim.
