Ser Jacopo: Sandblasted Dublin (S2) Tobacco Pipe

Ser Jacopo's Dublin designs can take many forms, ranging from fairly conservative to more eclectic, whimsical shaping styles. This offering is an example of the former, the subtly flaring, tall bowl displaying a chamfered rim and relatively stout proportions, but not overtly so. Out back, the more slender shank and stem taper elegantly toward the bit, the proportions between bowl and shank informed by neoclassic style. It's dressed in one of the Italian workshop's ruby-toned sandblasts, with a band of lightly stained briar the shank end lending contrast.
