Ser Jacopo: Smooth Freehand (L1) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-3633
A svelte and sleek Freehand piece from Pesaro workshop Ser Jacopo, this pipe features some interesting shaping, something most prevalent at the bowl. Said bowl displays a softly inflated rim which undulates as it crowns the bowl's walls, coming to a peak at the fore and drawing the eye toward it readily. The walls of the bowl itself are stolid and upright, with a touch of taper to their build, all of this standing atop a supple, rounded heel that keeps the fore of this pipe looking playful and intriguing. The transition is wide and smooth, and a trim shank ebbs out of it, forming a consistent taper with the svelte, demurely downturned stem, its black hues complementing the chestnut stain of the briar for a traditional color palette.-John McElheny
