Sleek, refined, and supple, this bent Egg from Ser Jacopo juxtaposes the soft, elegant curves of the bowl against the jutting, sharply pronounced heel that drops a touch past the transition. The shank-and-stem arrangement that trails out back is comprised of a continuous, gradual taper that brings to mind the aquiline bend of Hawkbill, but with just a touch of extra boldness in the form of the half-saddle mouthpiece's raised shoulder. The overall composition is lightweight and comfortable in hand, with the bowl's rounded surface nicely accommodating wrapping fingers. It's handsomely presented in the silky, orange-hued La Fuma finish, which nicely showcases the sweeping flame grain on either flank of the bowl.
