Characterized by an especially crisp, pointed heel, this Bulldog from Ser Jacopo is informed by impressive line work that continues through the structured, paneled shank and stem, the arrangement in back tapering gradually toward the bit. The rounded bowl is replete with a single, wrapping beadline beneath the domed rim, and half-circle panels along the lower bowl of either flank. It's wearing the Italian workshop's grain-defining Spongia sandblast, which should darken with patina as the pipe is smoked over time.
