Ser Jacopo: Smooth Bent Apple (L1) (B) (Maxima Maxima) Tobacco Pipe

A bent Apple notable for its two "Maxima" stamps, this bodacious Ser Jacopo rendition fits in well with the workshop's penchant for crafting large, robust and often whimsical pieces. The massive bowl retains the affable curvaceousness of the classic form and is lent a bit of playfulness by a sloping rim covered in plateau. Out back, a downward curving shank and stem of far more slender proportions hint at the Hawkbill design and certainly speak to the dramatized proportions of Italian neoclassic style. The smooth stummel is wearing a smoky walnut stain, pairing well with the jet-black, acrylic stem.
