Ser Jacopo: Smooth Bent Dublin Churchwarden (L1) (A) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-3691
Ser Jacopo isn't known for producing a plethora of Churchwardens, though the Pesaro workshop makes handsome renditions of them, as indicated by this hearty bent Dublin. Playfully fashioned, the tall, asymmetrical rim is demarcated by a wrapping ridgeline that turns into two vertical, framing lines along the aft, while the fore juts outward a bit. The plump, rounded heel and upward curling, abbreviated shank give way to the ebony-hued, elongated stem which is sinuously bent for a comfortable smoking posture. The stummel is wearing a rich, smoky, auburn stain, showing off some especially wispy tendrils of flame grain along the right flank and fetching birdseye dotting the rim.
