Ser Jacopo: Rusticated Stack (R1) (C) (Maxima Maxima Maxima) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-3700
The Stack is a shape which is exceptionally well-suited to exaggeration, being essentially a Billiard with a much taller bowl, and this is something Ser Jacopo has highlighted in this example. Bearing three Maxima stamps, this pipe showcases a striking height, coming in at more than three and a half inches tall and boasting a chamber of cavernous capaciousness. This chamber is surrounded by some very thick insulating walls, courtesy of more than two inches worth of breadth at he bowl, sure to keep this pipe comfortable in the hand during extended smoking sessions. Further comfort is offered by the ample curves of the cylindrical bowl, its towering presence easily accommodating all of the fingers, and the low-set transition here enables the thumb to wrap around the bowl's aft without touching the shank. Said shank is actually rather trim, comprising a consistent taper through the extended stem all the way to the button, with the stem's appreciable reach extending the length of this pipe to eight and a half inches. Dressed in a craggy rustication and warm auburn stain, the rim, nomenclature panel, and a band of briar at the shank end are left smooth and lightly stained, introducing some handsome contrast.
