In the 40-years since Ser Jacopo's founding in 1982, the Italian workshop has garnered a well-deserved reputation for being on the cutting edge of the Pesaro style of Italian pipe making. This bent Billiard maintains the workshop's penchant for creating muscular designs, with the tall, rounded, and tapering bowl offering more than two inches of chamber depth. It's set to a rather gestural S-curve, the gently downturned stem promoting a comfortable smoking posture, while the slightly elongated transition offers plenty of room to drape a digit. It's dressed in one of the workshop's earthy rustications for visual and textural delight, with a smooth band of briar at the shank end offering contrast and the acrylic mouthpiece displaying complementing tones.
