Ser Jacopo: Smooth Hawkbill (L1) Tobacco Pipe

The Hawkbill is a traditional shape now closely associated with Italian pipe making, as many artisans and workshops there have made the shape their own. This example from Ser Jacopo is a playfully plump take, with a pert, Egg-like bowl resting at the fore of the Hawkbill's arcing shank and saddle stem. Dressed in a rich walnut stain, the stummel boasts fine flame grain around the bowl, as well as touched of birdseye. The pipe's design is ideal for clenching, making this a walking pipe of no small distinction.
