Ser Jacopo: Smooth Canadian with Silver (L1) (A) Tobacco Pipe

The Canadian definitely isn't the first shape that comes to mind when one thinks of Ser Jacopo, a workshop known for its wild shaping, massive neoclassical proportions, and distinct finishes. This piece is quite a reserved, traditionally inclined rendition not only aesthetically, but also in terms of its shaping and scale. At just over five inches in overall length, it's also one of the smallest takes on the Canadian we've ever received from the Italian workshop, but still features their excellent craftsmanship and close attention to detail. The warm Bruyere-like finish gives the piece a timeless look and hearkens back to the briars of yesteryear. It's handsomely accented by a gleaming band of sterling silver, further accentuating the elegance of the entire composition.
