This particular piece is influenced by Joan Miró's Man with a Pipe from 1925, with the plump bowl's drooping, rounded heel and playfully shaped shank accented by a trim silver ring for a bit of playful flash. Compact in its overall design, it's dressed in the workshop's Spongia rustication, with the ridgeline-wrapped rim, along with the shank, wearing a complementing smooth finish.
