Ser Jacopo: Picta Van Gogh Smooth Dublin with Silver (L1) (C) (15) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-3737
Ser Jacopo's Picta series takes its inspiration from the workshop's late founder Giancarlo Guidi's appreciation for the arts and features pipes similar in shaping to those seen in the works of famous painters. This lengthy, forward-ebbing Dublin was inspired by Vincent van Gogh's Old Fisherman with Pipe and Coal Stove from 1883. The forward-canting bowl is poised at the end of a streamlined stretch of elongated, continually tapering shank and stem with a dose of tasteful flash in the form of a trim accent ring gleaming at the shank end and another encircling the rim. The stummel is wearing one of the Italian workshop's mahogany stains, highlighting dense flicks of flame grain on all flanks.
