Ser Jacopo: Smooth Bent Billiard with Silver (L1) (C) Tobacco Pipe

This bent Billiard is quite a drastic departure from Ser Jacopo's wild, flourishing designs or massive Maxima briars, opting instead for pocket-friendly proportions and a regal accent. Although it's definitely on the smaller end of the Italian workshop's sizing spectrum, there's a surprising amount of chamber capacity. The rim displays a dramatically sloping, wavy whimsicality that brings a rather floral and organic aesthetic to the form, while the arcing shank and downturned stem promote a comfortable smoking posture. Dressed in a warm mahogany stain that pairs well with the trim silver accent at the shank end, there's lots to appreciate about the briar's grain, with cross grain at fore and aft and whorls of birdseye dotting the flanks.
