Ser Jacopo: Picta Magritte Smooth Bent Dublin with Silver (L2) (C) (16) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-3739
This bent Dublin's shaping is influenced by René Magritte's 1928 painting The Pipes Enamored at the Moon and is part of Ser Jacopo's Picta line, a series inspired by pipes featured in the works of major artists like van Gogh, Miro, and Magritte. The forward-ebbing, robust bowl features an undulating, flaring rim, while the upturned shank and sharply downturned stem brings to mind the iconic curve of the Hawkbill design. The stummel is dressed in a light honey-blonde stain, unveiling beautiful, tight-knit tendrils of flame grain, with handsome whorls of birdseye saturating the rim. Additionally, a gleaming silver band depicting the Belgian artist's signature flying doves lends further ornate detail.
