Equal parts gestural and rigid, this Bulldog from Ser Jacopo boasts a tall, muscular bowl complete with the form's characteristic domed rim and wrapping beadlines. Instead of a diamond shank, the bowl is paired to a paneled shank that curls upward toward a tapered mouthpiece of jet-black acrylic. Even given its structural character, the pipe remains rather fluid in profile, the shank and stem striking a sinuous S-curve out back. An auburn-hued smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights fine strands of flame grain as they reach toward a rim populated with birdseye.
