Ser Jacopo: Insanus Spongia Rusticated Bent Dublin Sitter with Silver (R2) (D) (8) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-3783
Ser Jacopo's Insanus series features eye-catching pipes that are truly unique, even by the standards of the already boundary-pushing Italian marque, often utilized to showcase the workshop's ability to drill at a continuous curve, ensuring a clean smoking experience even among their most ambitious creations. While this bent Dublin is on the more refined side of the Insanus series (literally "insane" in Latin), it still retains a distinctive shape, with a deep curvature that travels from the forward-urging bowl through the shank and back up to the tapered stem, making a sharp S-curve. The Spongia finish leaves plenty of crisp, rusticated texture to delight the fingers, with the nomenclature panel, rim, and heel left smooth for contrast. The light, natural stain is complemented by the jet-black of the acrylic tapered stem and is lent further flair via a trim silver accent at the shank end.
