This compact Ser Jacopo Poker displays a great deal of forward momentum, the cylindrical bowl leaning from a flattened, angled heel that also allows it to sit sturdily. A crisp ridgeline wraps around the gently inflated rim, accentuating the bowl's round contours even more. The more slender, abbreviated shank is accentuated by a silver spigot mount that's then topped by an especially slender saddle stem, the arrangement in back rising subtly upward from a mid-set transition. A rich, warm walnut contrast stain beautifully dresses the stummel, highlighting a fascinating array of grain around the bowl.
