Ser Jacopo: Rowlette Rusticated Bent Billiard Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-3797
Founded by Giancarlo Guidi in 1982, Ser Jacopo boasts a successful 40-year history, enjoying a well-deserved reputation of being a pioneer of the Pesaro style of Italian pipe making. This "Maxima" bent Billiard maintains the workshop's aptitude for creating muscular designs, with the tall, tapering and robust bowl offering a generous chamber space along with a plump, curvaceous base. It's paired with a sinuous S-curve, the mouthpiece turning down gently for a comfortable hands-free smoking posture, if so desired. Mostly distinctive to Italian pipe making, this Rowlette rusticated piece wears an eye-catching "dripping wax" carved finish that's chestnut and mahogany stained, with a band of smooth briar at the shank end contrasted by the dark, acrylic mouthpiece.
