Ser Jacopo: Rowlette Rusticated Apple Tobacco Pipe

A more traditionally inclined pipe, this straight Apple from Ser Jacopo is crafted in moderate proportions and is a sturdy Sitter as well, thanks to its flattened underside. The plump, rounded and gently tapered bowl sits proudly at the end of a rounded shank and jet-black acrylic stem. Perhaps what most catches the eye, though, is the Pesaro workshop's Rowlette finish that emulates the look of melting wax, something which several Italian workshops have their own versions of. The warm chestnut and mahogany hues of the rustication is nicely complemented here by a trim band of natural briar accenting the shank end.
