Ser Jacopo: Spongia Rusticated Bent Dublin (R2) (A) (Maxima Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-171-3832

This bent Dublin from Ser Jacopo is a fine example of the Italian workshop's penchant for robust proportions and stylish finishes. The bowl here flares from its firm, angular heel to its broad, rim, featuring a touch plateau, while the shank curls upward from the low-set transition and marries a demurely curved mouthpiece of jet-black acrylic. The boxy shank's firm, structural lines reinforce the shape's muscular build and offer just a slight bit of contrast to the bowl's sleek contours. It's all dressed in the Spongia rustication, which covers the stummel in a craggy texture and will develop the warm tans, browns, and golds of patina as the pipe is smoked over time.
