A hearty bent Billiard from Ser Jacopo, this hulking piece bears one of the Italian firm's "Maxima" stamps, denoting its substantial size and build. It features a tall, palm-filling bowl that tapers gently from its plump, rounded heel to its taut rim. The bowl holds most of the visual weight within the composition, overshadowing the comparatively slender build of the shank-and-stem arrangement. A crisp rustication dresses the stummel and provide plenty of tactile feedback for the fingers to explore, save for a trim band around the shank end, which is smoothly polished and stained a honey-blonde color for contrast.
