Ser Jacopo: Smooth Bent Egg Churchwarden (L2) (A) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-171-3854

We see few Churchwardens from Ser Jacopo, but those that do arrive here are certainly distinctive. This bent Egg shape is one of the more stylistically intriguing iterations of the Churchwarden from the Italian workshop, with a good deal of Aquiline curvature about the shank and stem, reminiscent of the Hawkbill. The heel descends beneath the transition in a point reminiscent of the Acorn shape, while the smooth shank rises to meet the dramatically extended mouthpiece, all combining for a comfort pipe that's perfect for relaxing smoking sessions. This is an especially noteworthy example of the profile, as its one of few with this silhouette to have received a smooth finish, here revealing cross grain at the bowl's flanks and through those of the trim, tightly-knit shank. The warm walnut stain pairs well with the stark white of the stem to cultivate ample contrast in this pipe.
