Ser Jacopo: "La Pipaccia" Rowlette Rusticated Volcano (4) (C) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4005
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Unfortunately, Guidi passed away in 2012, but his workshop carries on his legacy.
When Guidi was a child living on the Adriatic Sea, he saw many sailors who smoked fantastical pipes from faraway lands. The La Pipaccia series pays homage to Guidi's childhood pipe memories and boundless imagination, which is abundant in this Volcano. The acrylic stem features a briar band, which transitions into a similar accent, a chestnut-colored, briar expansion ring. The majority of the stummel is dressed in Ser Jacopo's Rowlette rustication, which emulates the look of dripping wax drops in the form of briar.
