Ser Jacopo: Smooth Hawkbill (L1) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-171-4050

Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This Hawkbill by Ser Jacopo features a plump bowl poised at the fore of the shape's archetypal shank-and-stem arrangement. The shank arcs upward from the transition, its curvature gently decreasing until it comes to a conclusion at the broad bit, giving this piece its iconic, aquiline curvature. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a walnut smooth finish, which is accented texturally by a thin beadline just below the rim.
