Ser Jacopo: Spongia Sandblasted Bent Billiard (S3) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4057
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This bent Billiard by Ser Jacopo features a towering bowl that tapers from a plump waistline to a trim rim, giving it a Brandy-esque appearance. Out back, the lengthy shank-and-stem arrangement presents a languid arc, giving this pipe a supple profile. Additionally, the stummel showcases the workshop's Spongia sandblast, highlighting craggy growth rings dressed in a virgin finish, which will acquire a fine patina with time.
