Ser Jacopo: Spongia Delecta Sandblasted Bent Billiard with Silver (S3) (B) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4058
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This bent Billiard by Ser Jacopo is a quintessentially Italian rendition of the shape. The bowl takes center stage in the composition, its towering, forward-canted form revealing a remarkable array of blonde-stained growth rings that rise up the walls. Out back, the stout shank rises to one of Ser Jacopo's signature Delecta mounts, pairing a chestnut-hued wooden accent on the shank end to a tidy silver band on the stem base, which meet with the traditional mortise-tenon joinery.
