Ser Jacopo: Smooth Paneled Bent Dublin with Silver (L1) (D) (Maxima Maxima Maxima) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4071
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This bent Dublin by Ser Jacopo features a hexagonal pattern of six panels on its dramatically flared bowl, giving this pipe a robust feel in hand. Furthermore, the panels frame streaks of flame grain on the thick, insulating walls and swaths of plateau on the vast rim. A sweeping transition flows into a rectangular shank, further showcasing the workshop's superb line work, which even extends onto the bent tapered stem. Said stem is fashioned from jet-black acrylic, which pairs nicely with the classic chestnut stain on the stummel and the shining silver band accenting the shank end.
