Ser Jacopo: Delecta Sandblasted Rhodesian with Silver (S1) (C) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4082
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Unfortunately, Guidi passed away in 2012, but his workshop carries on his legacy. This sandblasted Rhodesian by Ser Jacopo features the shape's requisite muscular, domed bowl, which is split around the waist by two engraved beadlines, offering a pleasant textural contrast. Additionally, this pipe features a Delecta mount; in this case, an acrylic expansion ring is mounted to a silver band around the stem, which gives the traditional pressure-style tenon and mortise the appearance of a military mount, both of which are rendered in crackled, amber-hued acrylic.
