Ser Jacopo: Mangia Fuoco Rusticated Cherrywood with Silver (R1) (D) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4112
Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. Ser Jacopo's Mangia Fucono line presents sturdy Poker/Cherrywood designs with removable caps that protect the contents of the bowl from the elements. Holes are drilled along the top of the bowl, allowing air and smoke to exit the chamber while reducing the chance anything else will enter. This particular Cherrywood boasts a flat heel that enables the totality of the composition to sit without the aid of a stand. It's presented in a dual finish that sees an earthy sandblast juxtaposed against smoothly polished sections of briar. An accent of sterling silver wraps around the top of the bowl and adds a dose of flash to the composition, for further visual intrigue.--Davin Hylton
