Ser Jacopo: Cymatium Smooth Bent Dublin with Silver (L1) (C) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4120
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. Ser Jacopo adorns many of their pipes with their signature Delecta mounts, but this bent Dublin features their rarer Cymatium mount. The intricate silverwork of the Cymatium mount is modeled after an Ionic column, and it serves as an accent to a traditional pressure-style tenon-and-mortise arrangement. Additionally, the stummel features another prominent accent, a spur below the flared Dublin bowl, hearkening back to the designs of the clay pipes of yesteryear. Furthermore, a walnut smooth finish dresses the stummel, showcasing wispy streaks of flame grain on the hand-filling bowl.
