Ser Jacopo: Picta Miro Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Silver (S2) (C) (10) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4143
The late Giancarlo Guidi, founder of Ser Jacopo, was an avid art collector and enthusiast. So much of an enthusiast, in fact, that he created the Picta line — a series inspired by pipes featured in the works of major artists like van Gogh, Miro, and Magritte. This particular bent Dublin takes inspiration from Joan Miró. As a shape, this piece features a forward-canted bowl that's posed at the fore of a steeply bent shank-and-stem arrangement. Boasting a deep curvature, from rim to bit, this piece conforms naturally to the hand and possesses a rather deep chamber capacity, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. A crisp sandblast dresses the stummel and highlights impressive grain throughout, while a sterling silver accent adorns the junction and ties the entire form together with a touch of flash.
