Ser Jacopo: Imago Smooth Dublin with Silver (L2) (B) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4185
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This bent Dublin by Ser Jacopo features an arresting bowl, which flares from a tight heel to four facets, creating a wavy ridgeline that encircles the bowl and framing the chamber with a square rim. Out back, the shank and stem are styled conservatively, as the arrow-straight arrangement evenly tapers from transition to bit. The jet-black acrylic stem and warm auburn stain on the stummel are separated by the dual silver bands of Ser Jacopo's Imago mount, a fitting flourish for this distinguished pipe.
