Ser Jacopo: Smooth Rhodesian (L1) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-171-4204

Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This Rhodesian by Ser Jacopo is a sleek rendition of the shape. The shank-and-stem arrangement is quite lengthy and presents a gentle taper from the transition all the way to the trim bit. Perched at the fore, the muscular bowl dominates the composition; possessed of a broad waistline, the bowl is engraved with two traditional beadlines that offer a palpable contrast to the slick walnut smooth finish that dresses the stummel.
