Ser Jacopo: Albus et Niger 'La Pipaccia' Sandblasted Acorn (S1) (C) (5) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4209
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. When Guidi was a child living on the Adriatic Sea, he saw many sailors who smoked fantastical pipes from faraway lands. The La Pipaccia series pays homage to Guidi's childhood pipe memories and boundless imagination, which is captured in abundance by this Acorn. The shank and stem join at the silver bands, rather than near the white acrylic, offering a unique look while retaining a traditional pressure-style arrangement. Additionally, the walnut smooth finish on the shank and stem accent are complemented nicely by the detailed black sandblast on the supple bowl.
