Ser Jacopo: Rusticated Dublin (R1) (C) (Maxima Maxima Maxima) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4212
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This Dublin by Ser Jacopo boasts three "Maxima" stamps, an indicator of its exceptional size. Measuring in at over 8 inches, the protracted shank dominates the composition, which is topped off by an abbreviated tapered stem. At the fore, the bowl is quite substantial as well, it's thick, hearty walls flaring outwards to a broad, craggy rim. Furthermore, the rim is framed by a thin ring dressed in a blonde smooth finish, offering a vivid contrast against the rugged, chestnut-hued rustication.
