Towering at more than three and a half inches tall, this quadruple "Maxima" stamped Poker from Ser Jacopo is an unmissable pipe, both in its looks and its massive presence in hand: the size necessitating every finger's involvement in holding it. The shape is almost more reminiscent of a Stack given its cylindrical bowl and, of course, lofty height, but its thick, brief shank, projecting straight out of the bowl's side, and flat, eminently sittable underside speak otherwise. The chamber is positively cavernous at more than three inches deep, and its thick, insulating walls ensure hours of comfortable smoking: making this handsomely rusticated offering a powerful contender for dedicated desk pipe.
